This will bring you to the\u00a0<strong>Edit Image<\/strong> page.\n\n<img class=\"alignnone wp-image-2830 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.pub\/app\/uploads\/sites\/4748\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-06-at-12.10.51-PM.png\" alt=\"Edit Image window\" width=\"1049\" height=\"871\">\n\nAvailable image editing options include the ability to:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Crop<\/li>\n \t<li>Rotate an image left or right<\/li>\n \t<li>Flip an image vertically<\/li>\n \t<li>Flip an image horizontally<\/li>\n \t<li>Scale an image to your custom pixel dimensions<\/li>\n \t<li>Crop an image to custom pixel dimensions and aspect ratio<\/li>\n \t<li>Select whether customized image settings apply to the thumbnail version of an image<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWhen you've finished changing your image's settings, click\u00a0<strong>Save.\u00a0<\/strong>This will return you to the Image Details window, where you can click\u00a0<strong>Update.\u00a0<\/strong>You'll then be taken back to the chapter's visual editor. You can also hit\u00a0<strong>Back\u00a0<\/strong>to return to the Image Details window.\n<h1><a id=\"replacingimages\" href=\"\"><\/a>Replace an Image in One Location<\/h1>\nTo replace a single image in your book:\n<ol>\n \t<li>Click the Edit pencil icon to open up the Image Details window<\/li>\n \t<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Replace\u00a0<\/strong>underneath the image on the right side of the panel to be brought to the\u00a0<strong>Replace Image\u00a0<\/strong>screen\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2831\" src=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.pub\/app\/uploads\/sites\/4748\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-06-at-12.27.39-PM.png\" alt=\"The &quot;Replace&quot; button on the Image Details window\" width=\"1074\" height=\"435\"><\/li>\n \t<li>Choose the replacement image from your Media Library or switch to the\u00a0Upload Files\u00a0tab and upload a new image\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2833\" src=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.pub\/app\/uploads\/sites\/4748\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2020-01-06-at-1.48.45-PM.png\" alt=\"Replace Image window \" width=\"1046\" height=\"559\"><\/li>\n \t<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Replace<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\nYou'll be returned to the visual editor with the image replaced.\n<h1>Replace an Image Globally<\/h1>\nThe previous method only replaces an image used in one particular location in your book.
