You can share the link to your catalog page for marketing or to share your books in a visual way.\n\nHere's one example:\n\n[caption id=\"attachment_124\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"776\"]<a href=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.pub\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10270\/2015\/01\/catalog-page.png\"><img class=\"size-full wp-image-122\" src=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.pub\/app\/uploads\/sites\/4748\/2021\/02\/catalog-page.png\" alt=\"catalog page\" width=\"776\" height=\"549\"><\/a> Catalog page[\/caption]\n\nBrowsing the Catalog and clicking a book cover allows readers to start reading your webbook, whether you have your entire book public or just a few chapters. If the book is private, they can still read the book description, generating interest in your book. <a href=\"https:\/\/opentextbooks.colvee.org\/userguide\/chapter\/publish\/\">You can also include purchase links<\/a>\u00a0from your webbook to where your book is available for sale.\n\nThe catalog page includes:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Cover<\/li>\n \t<li>Title<\/li>\n \t<li>Author<\/li>\n \t<li>Tags you can add to describe your book<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><a id=\"usingthecatalog\" href=\"\"><\/a>Using the Catalog<\/h1>\nNavigate to\u00a0<b>My Catalog<\/b>\u00a0in the top menu of Pressbooks to access your Pressbooks Catalog. From here, you can control what\u2019s visible in your catalog, add tags to existing entries, and add new books that are on Pressbooks.\n<h2><a id=\"hiding_showing\" href=\"\"><\/a>Hiding or Showing Books in your Catalog<\/h2>\nYou can add any of your own books to your catalog, whether they are private or public. All books in your account will be included in a table when you navigate to\u00a0<strong>My Catalog.<\/strong> By default, no book will appear in your public catalog.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\n\nTo show a book in your catalog:\n<ol>\n \t<li>Hover over the book in the My Catalog table.<\/li>\n \t<li>Click the <strong>Show in Catalog\u00a0<\/strong>link that appears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nAll books that are currently in your Catalog will show a checkmark in the\u00a0<b>Catalog Status<\/b>\u00a0column while those not included will show an X.\n\nYou can also add books to your catalog in bulk by following these steps:\n<ol>\n \t<li>Click the checkbox in the top left column of the table to select all books.<\/li>\n \t<li>Open the Bulk Actions dropdown menu and select <strong>Show in Catalog<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Click Apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nYou can hide or remove books from your catalog following the same steps.
