The\u00a0<strong>Media<\/strong> menu allows you to add new media in bulk, edit your media, and add important information like titles, captions, and alt text. In this chapter, we will cover:\n<ul>\n \t<li><a href=\"#step_1\">Adding media to your Library<\/a><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"#step_2\">Adding details to your media<\/a><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"#step_3\">Editing images<\/a><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"#step_4\">Deleting media<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h1><a id=\"step_1\" href=\"\"><\/a>Adding media to your Library<\/h1>\nYou can include images and other media in your Pressbooks book by uploading them to your book's <strong>Media Library<\/strong>. This limit may be lower, depending on your network manager's preferences. Clicking on an attachment will bring up the Attachment Details menu.\n\nThe right side of the Attachment details menu includes fillable fields to include more information about the media. This includes a title, caption, and description field. You can do so by selecting an attachment within your Library to open the Attachment details menu and selecting\u00a0<strong>Edit Image<\/strong>, found below the preview of your media.\n\nYou can perform edits like cropping, rotating, or flipping your media as well as changing the scale or aspect ratio.
