They can also affect what is visible to book collaborators with certain user roles, which you can read about in more detail in <a href=\"\/iotb\/chapter\/users\/\">Users &amp; Collaborators<\/a>.\n<h1><a id=\"globalprivacysettings\" href=\"\"><\/a>Global Privacy Settings<\/h1>\n<div class=\"textbox\"><strong>NOTE:\u00a0<\/strong>Pressbooks.com users can only access global privacy settings for their webbook once they've upgraded to any Pro Plan.<\/div>\nThe global privacy setting affects whether or not readers can access your webbook on Pressbooks. You can set your book\u2019s global privacy to private or public:\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Private<\/strong> books can only be accessed and viewed by the administrator of a book and the users that the administrator has added to the book. Setting a book\u2019s global privacy to private overrides chapter-level privacy settings.<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Public<\/strong> books can be accessed by anyone. When a book\u2019s global privacy is set to public, you can adjust the chapter level privacy to control who sees what content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThere are two places to set the global privacy for your book:\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Organize page<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Sharing &amp; Privacy page<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The Organize Page<\/h3>\nMost users will visit this page more often.
